Fresno has a great zoo. We were fortunate enough to be shown around by one of Auntie Em's co-workers, Christine, who has been visiting the Fresno zoo since she was a little girl. We didn't have to look at a zoo map even once :). Chris knew a lot of fun information about the animals. The highlight for mom was feeding the giraffes, Xander said he liked the giant tortoise the best (no picture sorry) and I think Flint like the Alligator best, he kept saying "teeth, teeth" and then would chomp his own teeth together. Flint is starting to say more and more words and he is at the stage where he is super excited when we know what he is saying. Thus he was pretty pumped to be able to use all of his animal words and just point at what he was saying. We got to see elephants eating hay, they swept the hay into a pile with their trunks and then used their trunks to scoop it into their mouths.
