Ice Caves

About 45 minutes northwest of our home on the south shore of lake superior there are sea caves in the shoreline. Some winters the ice packs in solids along the shoreline and you can walk out to the sea caves and see them in the winter. The caves have huge icicles and ice formations. The last time the sea caves were open Jill was pregnant with Xander. This year it has been quite cold and the ice packed in great so they were open. Also the caves are getting extreme national and international attention so there are more visitors than ever. Since thousands of people are visiting on the weekends, we decided to take advantage of Jill's Tuesday off and Todd's flexible work schedule. This winter has been bitterly cold and wind chills were below zero so we decided to take the boys to daycare and go much like the last time we saw them, a family of 2 with 2 dogs :).
