First boat outing for 2014

We took advantage of an early spring day without much wind to get out on the boat. We had a first time adventure of the coast guard boarding our boat and got to hang out and play in the sand at the beach.

The spring breeze was cool off the lake (there was ice still floating around a few weeks ago.)

Everything checked out. They said they usually give the kids DQ certificates for wearing life-jackets, but with DQ not open this year they gave the kids starlite mints (red and whilte mints). Xander, "Ooo, these are my favorite!"
