This weekend we were fortunate to have a visit from our dear friends Cory & Elisha Anderson and their boys Jaden, Layton and Lane. The boys didn't have school on Friday, so they left Friday morning. They were unfortunate to have bad roads the last half of the way, but made it safe anyways. We had pizza when they got here and then we all played in the basement with the puppies. The boys were off to bed and the adults got to talk a bit, but not too much, because we were all kind of tired (we must be getting older or something...).
Saturday morning Todd and I had Tae Kwon Do, so they stayed home with Xander and played in the yard with the 4-wheeler and snow mobile and sled. Then we had some lunch and a nap (the kiddos) and then we went for a hike out to Houghton Falls. This is a newer hiking spot about 20 mintues away and was a great hike for the families. The boys were troopers, even Xander, though he got carried.
Then home and some cheese curds, won tons and stir fry for supper, followed by bedtime and then some more adult conversation by the fire.
Sunday morning brought church (for them,) breakfast and then goodbye. It was a great weekend but went by much too fast. Thanks to the Andersons for coming to visit.

The boys liked the puppies, especially Polar.
Man, I miss cheese curds. Sounds like a great weekend.
