Bentleyville

We were in Duluth for Tae Kwon Do last weekend and since the seminar went until about 4, we decided to have a little dinner at Burrito Union and then hit up Bentleyville. For those of you who don't know what Bentleyville is, it is a HUGE outdoor light display at Bayfront park in Duluth. It is put on by a local businessman, he used to have it at his house, but it got so big that they moved it to the park. It is free for the public and they have hot chocolate and cookies (which we enjoyed). They also have popcorn along the way (the line was too long) and give you a marshmallow that you can roast over a fire pit (didn't tackle this one with the two little ones, maybe next year.) They also had a Santa you could talk to, but the line was like Disney World. If anyone gets to Duluth around the christmas season I would highly recommend it. We went on a Saturday night, it was a nice evening around 35 degrees, and it was crazy busy, thousands of people probably went through that night.
We got a couple pictures, but didn't have the good camera with for night shots, plus there were so many people on the walkways that you almost felt bad stopping and taking pictures, because you disrupted the flow of traffic.

The lit up archways we walked through

The twelve days of christmas, with the huge tree in the background. The lights on the tree flashed along with the music that was playing on speakers throughout the park.

Bayfront stage lit up, the picture doesn't do it justice.

Xander sat on Todd's shoulders for a big portion of it, he was awed and quiet, just looking around taking all the lights and people in.

Hot Chocolate

The beginning/ending. (again, not the best camera :)
