We got our christmas tree out and Xander was excited to see it come up. We bought a nice artificial tree last year, and it looks good again this year. We've had real christmas trees up to then, but Todd has burned them in the fire pit each spring and it is scary how fast they burn. So since we aren't always the best at remembering to water the tree regularly, we decided to stick with the artificial tree. It is fun this year because Xander is really getting in to Christmas. We bought a book of Twas the night before christmas, and have been reading that quite a bit at bed time. Xander is excited for Santa to come down the Chimney and fill our stockings by the fireplace :)

Xander helped plug the lights in. Now in the morning when he wakes up he likes to plug in the tree and also when we get home at night.
The tree is trimmed.
Lola is also really loving our tree. Every morning she wakes up, and wants to look at the tree. They are so cute at this age.
