Long Island with Evie

We got our boat out yesterday for the first nice day of the Summer, just barely made it in June. We were able to take Xander's friend Evie and her parents out in the boat with us. It was a gorgeous sunny day with calm water. We got out to Long Island, played in the sand and water and had a picnic lunch. After lunch we were even able to get a couple of waterskiing runs in. It was a great day and fun to spend time with Xander's friend and her family. The kids played together great and enjoyed the sand and sun. Fortunately the kids had their swim shirts on and spent the time in the boat under the canopy so they didn't get red, unfortunately, mom can't say the same. I'm not too red, just a bit on the shoulders.
